Open-air
Erasmus+ classes
October 12th - Erasmus+ Day
Our school cooperated with the Erasmus partners in organising Erasmus+ Day. The event took place simultaneously in all partner schools including Saloniki (Greece), Bollen (France), Loja (Spain), Sintra (Portugal), Vilnius ( Lithuania); Novara (Italy).
The geocachers from ZSP No. 2 prepared outdoor classes promoting the current project ‘Geocaching In and Out of the Classroom Minds on the Move’ This active learning experience called ‘GeocachePicNic - Our Independent’ used a geocaching trail created in Kielce for the 100th anniversary of the restoration of Poland's independence.
During the classes students had to do some practical tasks prepared for them by history, English and IT teachers. The event was carried out by English and maths teachers: Monika Adamska and Ludmiła Macedońska.
The objectives of the classes were to:
- encourage students to explore the history and culture in an unusual way,
- help them to discover interesting places in their hometown,
- show them the benefits of taking part in Erasmus+ projects,
- combine language learning with other education areas.
Beautiful weather favoured the participants who had no problems dealing with the tasks prepared for them.
